Artisans Secret is a distinguished craft distillery nestled in the lush Gold Coast hinterland of Queensland, driven by the deep-rooted passions and unique backgrounds of its founders, Ray and Sarah. Both with extraordinary experience from previous roles in cellar and brewery management, as well as academic pursuits in biochemistry and western herbal medicine. This blend of scientific knowledge and hands-on experience has been instrumental in their distilling journey. Ray and Sarah's passion for herbalism and botany plays a central role in their distillery. Starting out as hobbyists, growing medicinal herbs, gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, and even producing dual extract tinctures. Ray, inspired by his grandfather's home brewing hobby, has developed his own niche in crafting naturally fermented dragon-fruit sparkling wine. This hobby sparked the idea to experiment with distilling their own spirits, leading them to research craft distilling. Within a year, they had secured the necessary licenses and began creating their own distinctive botanical spirits. Artisans Secret prides itself on its commitment to local production and environmental stewardship. Producing a range of spirits including gin, vodka, and white cane spirit, with rum aging for future release. Spirits are crafted on-site from scratch, including their base alcohol, and infused with botanicals grown on their property or sourced from local producers. Sustainability is at the heart of their operations. They adhere to organic principles in growing botanicals, collect and filter rainwater in their processes, and repurpose all distillation by-products to enrich their land. This meticulous approach to sustainability extends to their production methods as well; no synthetic additives are used, and small-batch production ensures that each bottle is crafted with attention to detail, offering unique flavors that reflect their commitment to quality and ecological responsibility. The head distiller was inspired by childhood memories of eating Mud Crab marinated in Chilli Plum Sauce on the Surfers Paradise beachfront. Sweet meets savoury with this hot release from Artisans Secret distillery. They’ve infused their Aussie Dry Gin with the sweetness of local red and black plums and mild red cayenne chillies. Gin Lemoni Limonchello liqueur

Our Process: Our Gin Lemoni limoncello is made with fresh high-quality lemon zest, which is then macerated in our own Artisans Secret Premium Vodka. Then, only pure cane sugar is added…just enough to lightly sweeten, along with a gentle touch of our Aussie Dry Gin. Our Gin Lemoni Limoncello is then proofed down to 27% ABV. Whenever possible, we source most of our lemons from our own spray-free lemon trees on our distillery property or from local growers. Tasting and Fragrance Notes: Exceptionally intense and fragrant with a sweet, fresh citrus tang, a strong lemon aroma and a smooth richly textured mouth feel, with tangy citrus mouth-puckering acidity and well balanced sweetness. One sip of Limoncello is all it takes to evoke the bright, summery citrus scent of lemon sorbet. Appearance: Gin Lemoni Limoncello Liqueur has a lovely golden hue. Glowingly translucent with a fine trace of lemon sediment visible from our hand-crafting process.
